Get directionsMy wife was placed in this home via social services. I was happy with the care she received. Her room was always clean. She did not participate in activities but loved the activity staff. The staff were always very pleasant. It was unfortunate she couldn't return to Meadowview Care Home after she fractured her hip. She now requires nursing care.
Absolutely amazing care for my mum. Thank you all ever so much. We will never forget you all at Meadowview Care Home.
Business response:
Thank you very much, Russ, we will never forget Mum (and Dad) here at Meadowview either, wishing you all well.
Before Mum went into the home the manager met me to show me the room Mum would be occupying. It was a clean, bright room, with a comfortable armchair, wardrobe, small table, sink with cupboard and a T.V. I was also told I could take in familiar items of Mum's eg photos, throws, cushions, dementia clock etc. When Mum was in the home the care staff were amazing, treated Mum with dignity, gave her the time she needed to tell them her needs. Mum was made up with a pair of sparkly socks she won at Bingo, proud of a painted plant ... read more

Thank you so much for your lovely review Jackie. Mum was a pleasure to care for. She is greatly missed by us all at Meadowview.
What a lovely afternoon we had for Mother's Day. The activities team did a fantastic job and my mum absolutely loved it. The afternoon tea was well presented and they made it really special. I always feel very welcome at Meadowview and it is a lovely, friendly atmosphere. The staff really know my mum and attend to her needs well. After my reluctancy to put mum into a home, I couldn't be happier in the knowledge she is happy, cared for and looked after.
Business response:
Many thanks for your lovely review, Mother's Day was a wonderful day here at Meadowview.
My mum has been in Meadowview Care Home for a few years now and although she has become less mobile she has not become unhappy. June was an important month for both Mum and I as my brother and his wife were visiting from Australia and would be seeing Mum for the very first time since she had been in the care home. I have a very good friendly relationship with all the carers and staff at this fantastic home and each one of those people offered the same level of hospitality to my family, they left happy in the knowledge that M... read more

My mum has been a resident for a year. She settled very quickly due to the caring attitude of the staff! Nothing is too much trouble for them, and they are all so friendly. I have real peace of mind now after such a difficult decision. She is very happy here.
Business response:
Thank you for your feedback, which we are very grateful for. I will share your feedback with the team.
My mother-in-law went in on emergency respite. The care and empathy she received was excellent. The activities she was involved in were very good. Staff were always clean and nicely presented. If it would have been closer to where we lived, we would have been more than happy for her to stay at Meadowview Care Home. Your staff do an amazing job. I also work in a dementia unit, so I understand how hard the job is.
Business response:
I am so pleased to hear we were able to help you and your family with the offer of a respite stay for your mother-in-law. The team at Meadowview do a wonderful job looking after all our lovely residents and it's so nice to receive such positive feedback, thank you.
As most people will understand, making the decision for Mum to move to care was a very tough one. The guilt was bad, particularly as she is a Wigan resident so her coming to Warrington was a decision made to make life easier for me visiting. Saying that it is a decision I am so glad was taken. Since she moved in she is so happy. She has become sociable, joining in the many activities with energy, which is so different to Mum pre-care. The home is spotless and the staff are wonderful, nothing is ever too much trouble. Her roo... read more

Staff are amazing! They always go above and beyond. Care is exceptional, and the activities are broad and balanced. Dad has been here for two years and is happy, safe, well looked after, we couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

This kind of feedback and reviews help us to continue to fight further during these difficult times. We wouldn't be able to be the team we are today without the help and support we are getting from you and your families. Thank you for everything.
