This was my first time at medieval and my boyfriend purchased the queen’s royalty package for us. I really enjoyed the entertainment, food and our server but I have 2 complaints and I couldn’t seem to find anyone in charge to speak with on these matters so hopefully it will be seen here. 1) the bartender that was near the VIP entrance was not very helpful. I was asking about the glasses on display and she kept telling me the prices and saying that if I wanted just the cup than I shouldn’t bother with purchasing an alcoholi... read more

Preferred the old show with an actual bad guy. Missed the opening with the mystical white horse. Not sure why opened with a guy with a whip? The white horse in the middle of the show did not have same effect. The new storyline was hard to follow. The kids and I had no idea what was going on.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We try to refresh our shows every 4-6 years to keep things new, but hope to see you again soon!

We were seated at the far end, but on the side. It was difficult to see much of what was going on. Most of it was in the center of the arena. When I purchased the tickets online it said seating was first come first served, so we arrived early. We were the first ones in the door, but were not given any choice where to sit. It was assigned.

Business response:

Hello my lady while we do offer seating for first come first serve we offer priority seating to guests who have purchased upgrade packages and all of our seating is assigned once guests arrive to the castle. We hope that you still we able to enjoy the Medieval experience and hope to see you backa t the castle soon!

Food is good. Potatoes are a little on the dry side, but everything else was really yummy. Entertainment is good. My favorite was the horse tricks done by the four white horses. Sword fighting was cool. Acting was delayed, but probably for safety reasons. Could have used an accent or old language, but I'm just use to the Ren Faire. Souvenirs are good. We got a sword & shield for our son and a journal for myself. Seating is tight. Literally you are touching the person next to you either by arm or leg. It's a long row of seats... read more

I once saw the show in Myrtle Beach and have always wanted to take my family. Fun. Crowd wasn't as pumped up as I thought they would be. Show was rather dragged out for the first hour. Thought there was going to be more jousting then a half hour. Would suggest but wouldn't recommend.
