This was our first trip to the melting pot. The food choices were amazing. Our server was beyond helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and the experience.
The fondue options were amazing, as usual. The salads were disappointing—pretty flavorless. But everything else was fantastic!
it was a culture shock at first, but the staff explained the menu very well. Don’t be deterred from the confusing start. Very yummy and exciting to try new things.
We came for our anniversary and loved how intimate it was to have our own secluded booth to enjoy the great food! The experience was awesome and the service was great. Would definitely go again!

I’ve been to Melting Pot many times. The food is great, but a little on the high price side. I’m sure you’re also paying for the experience as well but in this instance the experience was somewhat lacking. Just like most in the business of food it seemed to be caused by low staffing issues. Melting Pot is definitely an extended adventure in cuisine but in this instance it took quite awhile for our party of 3 to get food and drinks in their normally timely fashion. Marianne our server was excellent at helping us navigate our way through our first visit to The Melting Pot. She gave us good suggestions for drinks and for selecting food groups for our fondue. Be sure to have the "cooking time" card on the table so you can monitor how long to leave each item in the fondue pot - you don't want to over cook or under cook your selections. They provide delicious sauces to enhance your food and the dessert fondue options are amazing. We appreciated our first time experience at The Melting Pot.
I have visited many melting pots in many cities. We have visited the salt lake location 3 times in the last 5 months. Drink service is slow.
