RecommendedOnce Scott found a Carrier, they picked my car up that day...and at the time they said.
These guys kick serious -SS !! Got the job done. Found a carrier. Kept the price under control. But most of all they (especially our agent: Joshua Guckenberger) communicated frequently to keep my anxiety down while we waited for the booking and process to carry itself out. I requested my car be shipped no earlier than January 3 and it ultimately did not ship until January 31 (quoted price $1,485 Boston to SF; ultimately paid $1,500). I believe this was because of market conditions and not because of Mercury. Driver was very polite and helpful. I also used a broker (cost: $150; I don’t believe the broker is affiliated with Mercury), which I understand is customary in this industry. I was happy with Mercury and would use them again. Jim and Joel at Mercury was especially helpful getting my car shipped from Fort Worth to Chicago, even when I had to change pick ups because of Covid. They got a great auto transport company who delivered quickly! Timely responses, great upfront info about the process, held my hand through the process as much as I wanted. 5 stars!
I highly recommend mercury auto transport!! I originally booked road runner and they quoted me 1600, 5 days later I get a call from road runner and they said it’ll now be 2500 - wth…. So I contacted mercury (Scott Hawley) we shipped from WV to AZ and he was able to get the car dispatched THE NEXT DAY!!!!!! Car arrived 3 days later (WOW) we shipped a new 2021 Mercedes and it arrived in perfect condition other than it being really dirty but we didn’t do an enclosed carrier. I have been trying to get my 1964 Ford Van Delivered to California and I went through so many companies even lost money through one who took my deposit and never made the pic up ! Mercury Auto Transport was so quick and easy ! they were very clear and professional in their emails and the Driver was honest and made every effort to assure me he would come pick up Van and got it there fast and safe ! worth every penny not to mention very reasonable price !
