Bought because of a great sale price. Bought more for scanning than printing. It was on sale and had an auto-document loader to scan. Unfortunately, it does not scan duplex, but I was aware of that. Bought because of a great sale price. The software is great as it allows me to build custom workflows. For example I can scan and the Brother sends the scan to my Evernote Inbox.

Incredible quality, best printer I've owned I went through so many cheaper printers I finally had enough and decided to spend a little more money on a Brother and I am so glad I did. This printer is so easy to use, it is a night and day difference from other printers. Print quality is excellent, ink does not smear at all like other printers, ink is readily available in standard and high capacity cartridges.
