Prints well and is quiet, but software is lacking This printer prints well and is quiet. However, the software is terrible. They should have Epson write their software. The Epson software on my old Epson MFP was intuitive and easy to use. The software on both of my new Brother printers is the opposite. Also, the instructions provided with both printers (laser and inkjet) was minimal and sometimes, it is a pain to search online for the solutions to issues.

Great Printer at a Great Price I bought this printer to replace my aging inkjet printer, from a competing manufacturer. The cost per page for ink is a fraction of my old printer. The new ink tank system is far superior to my old printer utilizing foam ink cartridge couplng system. The print speed is amazing and the ability to print on 11' x 14" ledger paper is unheard of at this price point.
Love my Brother Easy to set up. Super easy to use. No paper jams. Transitions to Ledger paper automatically. Takes up less desktop space due to paper exiting in landscape instead of portrait.
All I hoped for. I like the double sided feature and the large ink cartridges.
Easy to use It was easy to set up. So far everything is working fine except for color printing. Color printing is spotty, black ink printing is fine. I've tried cleaning the color cartridges and reprinting but the same is happening. I gave up. I don't really need that much color printing. I've been printing only in black. Everything else is working fine.
Great Machine Our previous Brother was a good machine but this one is even better. It responds rapidly to your print request. It is almost as though it is done printing before you request it! It also works well with smart phones and tablets.

Great Product This is by far the best printer I have ever used. It has everything I need and then some. A lot of the features are so easy to use that I was able to print as soon as I set it up. If there is any down side, it is that I have problems printing using different size paper. But I believe that is my fault, as I have not used the instructions when I really should have. As far as I am concerned, it definitely rates 5 stars!
