Printer ink tubes/print head gets clogged After talking with Brother tech people we have the impression that the new combo printer we originally bought is not appropriate for home owner with occasional use. Instead it is designed for heavy office use. Our experience has been to use printer maybe a few times one day and then several days pass before we use it again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER, IT USES A LOT OF INK!! I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED in the amount of ink this printer consumes. I only use it for home purposes. It was advertised that it comes with ink tanks that will last a year however from the time I purchased this printer in July, 2021 at Staples, I have already had to replace the black tank on 1/26/22 and the blue, cyan and yellow tanks on 3/24/22. Default setting of portrait cannot be changed I bought this printer because the salesman at Staples told me it was the best one. However, it's definitely not the best one I've had. It has portrait as the default setting, which takes it forever to print a page. I've looked through the instructions and also spent a lot of time on the phone with their help line and the representative couldn't figure it out, either. Will never buy another Brother printer.
