This printer is a joke !!! This is the worst Brother printer I have ever owned. We purchase this printer for our small business and it has been nothing but a nightmare. The printer constantly loses its internet signal. We constantly have to keep turning off and on again. The printer will not hook up wireless to older computers. Half of the time when you push the scan button on the home screen, the printer just sits there and does nothing. For a small business, this printer is awful. Wish I could get my money back.

Makes good 8 1/2x 11 copys When I went to buy a printer to replace what I had, I was wanting a printer that would copy 11x17 forms to an 11x17 paper. The salesperson said it should and showed me where the form would need to go located in the back. I gave my other printer back to the seller since I no longer needed it. Turns out that I cannot copy an 11x17 form to a 11x17 paper. The printer says it takes 11x17. I guess it just doesn't copy.
Average to mediocre printer Putting paper is the biggest pain of any printer I've ever used. Sometimes if it doesn't fit in just right I will keep getting error message upon error message upon error message. If I had to do it again I would never buy this unit and I do not recommend it
Hard to figure out how to work Trying to copy unusual paper sizes is maddening! No instructions in user's guide as to how unusual-sized paper goes into the rear paper feeder.

Ink I have only used my machine for 2 months and am already out of black ink. Very disappointed. Not at all as advertised, which was why I decided to purchase a Brother product.
Like it. Downloaded drivers for XP and all I can do is print a test page. Works fine with my laptop windows 10/
Not want it Claims Very disappointed in the false advertising which said (up to) one year of ink in the box-- You'll be lucky to get 3 months. Call tech support and he said my box must be mislabeled. Ha, tell Office Max that, they have 5 others mislabeled. Also, the pixels make the pictures you print very grainy. Tech support explained how to increase the picture quality and that was a joke. You now have to use 3 times the amount of ink and the printer slows to 1 sheet per minute.
Keeps on jamming Keeps on jamming and have to clear jame all the time. Print quality not good. Love Brother printers but this is the worse. To its advantage printer is good on ink.
Wouldn't do it again. 1. The ink tanks were attractive. They seem to be operating well. 2. Software and communication is good. 3. Clarity of copies via WiFi is fairly clear. 4. Clarity, and color reproduction from copies made from originals on the scanner glass is well below average. This is not color-specific. Maintenance has been performed a number of times, to no avail. 5. Printed pages exiting onto the paper support is a disaster. No smooth movement or control.
