So far so good For the 5 days that I've had the printer it has worked as advertised. A little confusion on the set up as to what Wifi password was needed (not the one on the router as the instructions show), but was able to figure it out with help from our company IT support.
GREAT PRINTER BUT FLAWED The only negative thing I have to say about this printer is that I still have not figured out how to make copies or prints sized 11 x 17. The stats say it does but elsewhere it says “ledger” and ledger paper is smaller than 11 x 17. I also do not believe the ink will last for the stated length of time (one year) if printing 300 sheets or less per month. Just got the printer a couple of weeks ago and ink level is going down faster than expected.

printing envelopes is complicated compared to HP, printing envelopes on this machine is so complicated that I had to use extra effort to obtain special instructions through the help center.
brother INKVestment MFC-j6545 My computer installer was NOT able to set this printer up. He had me so frazzled I took it back to the store and got a smaller one. I am quite sorry. This was what I needed

Printer Buyer Very disappointed in this Brother MFC 6545 DW printer. The function of the printer was misrepredented by Staples and Brother. The store personal told me that is would do automatic duo two sided coping by using the ADF. Prior to purchase the brother on line user manual also said it had this function. It does not. Two sided copies have to be made by manually placing the originals on the top glass. .Verbal and printer information stated that it had both functions. This copier is very poor & I could not get it connected...so, I returned it.
disappointed I was very disappointed that this model did not have the duplex scanning yet does duplex printing. I will be returning this
