Not so good for photos I bought this printer for the large format scanning and printing. I need the scans to be accurate color and everything I scanned the color was way off no matter what software used or straight from the printer, which was very disappointing. The photo paper print out have roller lines and tiny perforations along those roller lines. I liked the speed and inexpensive ink. Bad paper feeder This is the 2nd Brother printer I have used and they both have the same issue. We replaced the first one thinking it was just old and worn out, but this new printer does the same thing. It often feeds more than one sheet of paper, staggered, so it prints partly on multiple sheets of paper making them worthless. Set up frustration First of all I like the printer and am certain it will more than meet my needs.However, downloading the drivers was a pain in the royal neck.The communication to the user is just awful. The signalling that the download is working is just not there. Any sign that the drivers have been downloaded and ready to go does not exist. One computer is now set up for wireless printing, but I am not ready to go through the fight to get the second computer printing. YUCK!!!
Should of bought an HP! What a true piece of junk! I don’t have anything good to say about it.
Do not buy Barely OK. Print is not sharp. Should have listened to my gut and stayed with HP and not listened to Staples salesperson
