Best Printer We Have Ever Owened We have had every brand and decided that we would start throwing the entire printer away when it runs out of ink and just buy a new one. My work uses Brother printers and they rarely have an issue. I purchased a Brother printer for home and was able to set it up with out support. Amazing I was surprised all that features that the Brother printer has. I am very glad I got this printer. I highly recommend it.
Functionality good; Mac support crippled Had to buy a separate driver because this model doesn’t work seamlessly with (pre-Big Sur) Macintosh operating system. And support was lacking—although Brother made good by compensating for our trouble with a free toner cartridge.
Works well. Changing toner is a pain Bought it for high volume printing. Mostly plan elevations. Works great. However first time I had to change the toner I discovered what a pain it is. Very easy to drop in new toner cartridge but took over an hour with chat and finally phone support to get printer to accept it was new. This was with original Brother toner cartridge purchased from Office Depot.

Great Product overall A sales rep. recommended this product and was told it was the same one he had his aunt buy. Best printer ever so far. It has been a few months and I could not be happier.
Solid Performance This is my first personal laser printer, I have used dot matrix thru advanced inkjet printers. Inkjet printer gobble up the ink and then the print head fails; seems like every three years. I made the jump to this laser printer, but a step back to black and white printing, but I really don’t miss the color printing.

A major improvement over inkjet Very competent. Using only black toner is a major hassle ender experienced by replacing the ink jets on my previous Epson printers. Toner lasts a very long time and while not cheap does a professional job. Also, the printer is super reliable and has eliminated virtually all the issues I used to experience from Epson. No routine calls to "tech support",
