So Far, So Good… Works great so far (~1 mo) with our iMac. A bit slow to start a job, but very quick and quiet once it gets going. Works well with my 3rd-party scanning software, even auto-detected so no setup whatsoever.
Great for mono output at home. Couldn't be happier with this MFC machine from Brother. After going through "Ink-Wars" with color printers that don't want me to refill the cartridges or use non-factory supplies, I found the perfect solution for my home office. I decided that I really do not need color printing. And laser toner is much cheaper, and I only need to buy one color - basic black! Five Stars Works well, so far
Best printer I have owned Best printer I have owned. The auto document feeder is excellent. I just completed scanning about 300 pages in no time at all. The duplex scanning works very well. The user interface is the best Brother has had. I am extremely happy about this printer. Scanning to and from my Windows 10 desktop is very simple. The installation on the computer was super simple; that has been an issue with Brother and apparently they made some great changes.

I love it! Does everything my old MFC-8480DN did, and more, for a lot lower cost, and in about 1/3 of the size.
