Setup was extremely easy. You just power on Setup was extremely easy. You just power on, connect to wifi, and it is ready for printing. Printing speed is awesome and it is quiet especially when comparing to an inkjet printer.
Brother Printers are the best! Brother printers are the best! Never again will I buy HP. This is my 2nd Brother and went from wired to wireless. Always come with a starter cartridge that gives you a good 800 copies and only $40 for a replacement that gives you 2,000. Try that with HP. No problems with wireless usage. They are the best!
Brother printer models are very reliable. The MFC L2740DW brother (mid sized mono-printer is s very good printer / prints 32 ppm / the LCD Screen is user friendly / the WiFi function works excellent / even in printing from my mobile phone. The 2-side option to print also works excellent. Plus purchasing the extra toner and cartridges are fairly reasonable in pricing.

Great MFC for the price point. Duplex scanning / copying and duplex laser printing at 200 bucks, can't beat it. Great MFC.
Good Hardware/Poor Software It prints great, very crisp well defined letters. The interface leaves a lot to be desired. It took a long time of trial and error to get to a point that I can rely on the system. I would start over each time I tried to print from another computer. You can use AIrPrint if you are not using WiFi connectivity. If you wire it with ethernet it doesn't want to use WiFI.
Works well for copy, scan and print Great printer and scanner. Two sided functions work great, and image quality is good. I have used printing, scanning and copying capabilities. I have not used this devices as a fax machine, but have no reason to believe it would not function well. Replacement toner is easy to locate locally and is affordable. I use this printer in a wired network configuration and cannot speak to the wireless networking capabilities or ease of setup.
