Works great but no USB port Works great and I like everything about it, except there is no way to use it if the internet goes down. There is no USB port for thumb drives or connecting it directly to the computer.

The Brother is super easy to setup and I had it up and ... I hesitated for years about buying a monotone printer. We use these at work and I never have a problem. I have gone through more color ink jet printers then I can count and after my last ink jet (EPSON XP-310) just refused to work anymore (after two years) I bought this printer. Excellent Product Great Printer/scanner. Saves storage space and enables me to store on my PC. No issues at all.
Good printer for the money. Deep sleep issue fixed easily with fixed IP. Everything works as expected (not tested fax though - who still does that???)
Brother MFC vs DCP Printers. What's up? This a review comparing the DCP line of Brother printers to the MFC line of Brother printers. I've always wondered why Brother has these two different -often identical looking- printer models. The answer I'm afraid is a big "duh", because the specs do reveal the difference: The MFC printers have fax capability whereas the DCP line does not. nice printer/copier, but chokes on 40 page print jobs There are a lot of things to like about this. The printer is fast, it's quiet, and it does 2-sided copying from the document feeder, and I had 0 trouble hooking it up to my Mac network at home (I haven't tried the wireless stuff and probably won't).
