Easy to set up and uses SO much less ink ... Easy to set up and uses SO much less ink that my prior printer. I rarely used color before but always had to have all four cartridges and they were always glitchy or running out. This has been a vast improvement in my efficiency and ink cost and I'm super impressed with how easy it has been to set up and figure out without getting a PHD in printer operation.
Great Performance but One Major Anklebiter Characteristic This is a beautiful little printer - it works extremely well and we have two of them, one for each home where we have home offices. We upgraded from the Brother HL-2280s which had little usage because we needed to be able to scan multi-page documents and the 2280 would only do one at a time. So far so good! I like this printer a lot. I've owned numerous printers through the years, including a couple Brother laser printers. This one supplements a photo inkjet all in one that I also have connected to my home network, so I can print B/W reports and whatnot much more economically. I got this new printer hooked up with no difficulties whatsoever and have done a fair bit of printing already. It's fast, I love the auto duplex option, and things are pretty intuitive.

Perfect low to medium volume home office tool! Very nice printer and scanner. Perfect and compact for home office!!
Works like a dream! Works like a dream! The best printer experience I've ever had. Super easy to use and beautiful B&W print! If you do a lot of B&W printing this is the one to have. Haven't had one problem in 100 days.
