Brother MFCCL2740DW Had the same but earlier model that always worked great with no problems. During a move from one room to another, I dropped it, causing fatal damage to the printer, and laughter from wife who had told me to be careful and not to trip. This printer is a bit newer with better features but works great in all its functions for my use in the home. I am sold on Brother MFC printers.

I did plenty of research for a faxable printer with only black and white, because I mostly use it for school, so color is only a waste of money for me. Wifi capable and also wireless printing. Not too big and not too heavy to carry. Very easy to use.
Excellent Wireless Printer/Scanner This is the best printer I've owned. Easy setup, works flawlessly; it is quiet and quick. The software works well on my Mac. The toner cartridge it came with is still going strong after several months. I've owned HP and Epson printers and I will never buy another one. Brother is the way to go.
Nice quiet printer and easy set-up easy set-up and works well wirelessly with my Apple laptop. Very quiet, does rock the table like my other printers, which is really appreciated as my office is in my home.

Great option for home Print/Fax/Scan options. Improvement over the previous model is that it now accomodates Google Cloud Printing and faxes over VOIP.... looks great.
Recommended. I was looking for a reasonably priced multifunction laster printer to replace a Canon inkjet printer for my home office. The Canon worked fine, I just got tired of the constant expense and hassle of buying ink carts. After some research, I decided to go with this Brother MDCL2740DW model. Great low cost Laser printer for light / home office use! This replaced an older Epson multi-function printer I had been using for the past 5 years. Overall, the Brother is smaller, quieter, easier to setup, and easier to use. It was painless to setup over WiFi, automatically worked natively in Windows 10 (without any Brother software), and I've zero issues--duplex printing, printing 100 pages in one go, ADF scanning, etc. All flawless.
