Bypass feed appears to be limited to manual insertion of only a single sheet at a time. Not cool 3 stars only because the toner capacity given at the bottom are correct, but they say toner is half full on arrival. i only was able to print 332 sheets and that is it and i have it on toner saver setting. If it was half full, I would have been able to get 600+ pages.
Brother MFCL2740DW Good reliable printer/scanner
Awesome printer! This printer is GREAT! I can print from any room in my house and from my IPod, Phone, Laptop or Kindle. I love this! I chose a laser monochrome because we really don't need color most of the time (kids all grown so no homework!) and the ink cartridge lasts about a year for us because laser printers have higher volume toner cartridges - very convenient. I can print, copy and scan - very easy to use and high quality documents. Set-up was very easy with step by step instructions included.
Excellent Aii In One Printer (in Black & white) This is an excellent all in one printer in every way. the only problem I see is that it does not print in colors. I knew this when I ordered and could have ordered the one that does print in colors so I am the one to blame. It works fine & prints beautifully.
Ok for small business, bad on labels/envelopes I bought this for my small business. Its ok. It prints fine and I haven't had problems with it jamming. I do print a lot of envelopes and labels though. I have tried to print on 3 types of envelopes- they all end up a little crooked and it seals the envelope shut. I'm still able to open the envelope and use them, but its irritating. I love this printer! I bought this printer used on Craigslist for about $125. I did this mostly because I have horribly low expectations of printers and can't stomach the thought of paying full retail price. After living with the MFCL2740DW printer for a year, I can say without a doubt that I would gladly purchase this printer new for full price. Terrific printer/copier/fax. It is very quiet and the prints ... Terrific printer/copier/fax. It is very quiet and the prints are crisp and clean. My only beef is the outfeed tray which tends to drop pages on the floor when printing a lot of pages. I may need another printer in the near future to replace an older printer.. If I do, I will replace it with another one of these.
Finally an all in one that makes me smile. ... Finally an all in one that makes me smile. There is the occasional wi-fi glitch (have to re-start the printer), and can be mostly mitigated by reserving an ip address for the printer on your home wifi router. Over-all trusty and dependable.
