Does everything I need it to do and mostly does it well I bought this printer because my inkjet printer was frequently running out of color ink even though I hardly ever printed anything in color. I've had it for over a year and I'm still on the original toner cartridge. By now I would have had to replace all my black and color cartridges at least twice on my old color inkjet printer so I'm definitely saving money. It does duplex printing and scanning. Power button and duplex printing Overall, I am still happy with the purchase. I have noticed today that the power button has got pressed in somewhat and I do not like the looks of it that way. I have also noticed that two-sided printing is very slow. I did not expect it because my previous printer MFC 7860DW printed faster.
Great product at a great price! Very nice laser all in one for the money. This is not my first Brother printer and it for sure will not be my last. Recommend this printer for the small office.
Solid performance for a great price The interface is not quite as easy as an HP printer, but it is easy to use and makes great copies. PDF copies made with the scanner come out with just about the right contrast. Would be nice to be able to adjust the contrast for faded documents, but not critical for most use.
Good first day. Easy connecting! So far so good. EASY TO PRINT FROM APPLE MOBILE DEVICES! AirPrint rocks. EASY setup for my MacBook Air. Easy but long set up on my PC even with the disc and using USB. Fast printing.
I can scan or copy a pretty good stack of documents at one time by placing ... For years I have been suffering the expense of buying expensive ink cartridges for cheap inkjet printers. You know, $40-$100 printer and $40 worth of ink every time you have to buy it, only to print less than 100 pages and have to buy ink again. Just what I needed. Have this set up for over a month now. Using for home and small office, retired, so relatively light use. Works as expected. No surprises and all functions are easy to use. Easy to set up and install. Copying/printing/fax incoming are nice and clear/clean. Love the auto sheet feeder. Receiving faxes with an outside answering machine is a little cumbersome, but OK. Fine but Brother support to deal with scanner issues was ... Fine but Brother support to deal with scanner issues was inadequate. Like many support, they indicated it was a third party problem like Google Chrome. After 50 minutes, I finally ended call with support and after another hour alone, I fixed the problem. It was a Brother issue -- their download had to be opened differently than what they indicated.
Four Stars Works great, had for several months no issues easy to setup.
