Works flawlessly Works flawlessly, have had no problems with the print or scan quality, and the wireless functionality works perfectly so I can print from multiple laptops and my phone wirelessly. The computers I have connected wirelessly to this computer include two macs, two laptops running Linux (Ubuntu and Manjaro), one laptop running Windows 10, and a couple of iphones and ipads. Great printer for all your home printing needs I purchased this printer with the intention of using it as a light duty home printer. It has performed greatly at this task. I use the scanning function quite a bit for keeping personal records, etc. I find the scanning process a bit more straight forward on this printer versus others. this is a great machine for the price Although much more cheaply made than the MFC-8820 that finally died after a dozen years of use, this is a great machine for the price. A slow printer and scanner, but crisp prints and worked perfectly out of the box, great for a home office.

Adequate printer for the price Printer is a bit on the noisy side. The initial ink cartridge sent only printed 500+ standard pages (should have done ~1,200). It does not give you much notice - once we got the warning that the ink was low it printed maybe 10 more pages and then locked up until we installed the new cartridge. We have ordered a high-capacity cartridge replacement and will see how that goes.
