Awesome Brother Printer Prints VERY fast compared to most $100 range printers. The ink is very cheap compared to Canon, and HP. And the printer cartridges last almost forever. Never buying a inkjet printer again... Great product as long as your okay with mediocre scanning DPI, and don't need color. We use this on WIFI.

Good printer...two sided printing and good quality print Have had this printer for several months now and really enjoy using it. The two sided printing saves a lot of paper and the laser print quality is excellent. Happy to get away from small ink jet cartridges!
Klutzy user interface, ADF feeder jams. Noisy unless you enable quiet mode It's really too bad. They could have had a really first-rate product here if they would not have blown it on the cheap ADF and the klutzy user interface on the touch screen. Those touches are nice but if they don't work it's kind of useless. I really like the features of it including duplex scanning. The printer engine is awesome as in most brother products. it's just the ancillary items that kinda suck a little
Been a year, no problems at all! So far so good. No problems except for the network setup. Brother helped me out with that, now all is good. Toner seems to last a long time, printing is laser quality. Update 8/5/16 This printer is still working flawlessly! We have used it quite a bit (for household use) and are still on the first real toner cartridge (after the demo cartrige the comes with the printer). Very happy with this purchase.
A perfect printer for Chromebooks users, and mobile devices The wireless scanning and printing is perfect for laptops, but more importantly, the perfect printer for Chromebooks and mobile devices. Since you can't plug a USB printer into Chromebooks, this is perfect. Connect it to your Google account and you can print and scan wirelessly! Very sleek look Very writer operation Very compact design Scan and print legal size paper too. Overall, this is a great printer at a great price.
Perfect for the small home/office An excellent small unit perfect for a home/office; the ability to both print and scan double-sided enhances its utility.
Printing from Apple devices now works well. Previous problems are gone after firmware upgrade. Edited 10/27/15: I have changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars thanks to a Firmware Update that has cured the problems I initially encountered with this printer. It now works very well with my Apple equipment via Wifi. The problem of the printer not being 'found' by my Apple equipment has been solved for me. I don't have any details about what the problem was and what the fix was. But, it is gone and the printer now is fully fun... read more
Airprint, duplex and scan to cloud - what else to ask! I love love this printer. The duplex is where it shines. AirPrint is superb addition. Scanner is worldclass. The scanner allows me scan to an email, to a PC or directly into dropbox or Google Drive (and variety of services). Very nice - one scan directly to the cloud important documents and save them.
