Went in for a routine visit with our dogs who had previously been with another provider. I handed the doctor's assistant the paperwork stating what they were due for, and the doctor took the dogs to the back to administer. After we left, we discovered one of our dogs had been given multiple shots he was not supposed to receive, and when we called about the issue, we never received a response. We had been loyal customers for over 6 years, until today. Our Emma injured her paw and we called to get her examined, explaining her condition. Were told there were no appointments available. When asked when the next available appointment was available, were told next week. In frustration asked if there were any emergency slots open. I recently transferred to this clinic after we moved into the area. Today I called needing my dog to be seen. The girl who answered the phone said that she would have to check to see if they could work him in because they are booked for weeks. She also said there would be a $92 work in fee. She NEVER called me back! I ended up calling my previous vet and they were able to get him in tomorrow (no extra fees). I am thankful that the previous vet took him back. My dog came in on a Monday morning with heavy breathing that started Saturday night. Had full blood work ran, x-rays done and an appointment. I was between paychecks, so money was a problem. There was zero wiggle room no matter what, but I came up with the money (over $500). She was given pills and shots and dead by Wednesday morning. The diagnostics were so terrible that they could not tell me she had less than 48 hours to live. They just wanted their money. I understand that during the time of COVID-19 times are hard and stressful but I was not expecting what happened. Many Veterinarian clinics are closed due to the spread of COVID-19. We were really concerned about Kash with his eye and his ear and seen it as an emergency. We found Midland animal clinic and was thrilled someone could get Kash in. I just moved here and I was nervous about finding a new vet. I made an appointment here because it was closest to my house and I needed meds for my dog for his ear infection. The first receptionist was nice. Our appointment was at 5, we arrived 10 minutes early. We were put in an exam room at 5. A tech came in and was not personable, didn't introduce herself and then told me she was taking my dog to the back for his exam and culture. What? I took my cat in for a bite wound and they wanted $543 to do surgery! They told me it would not heal on its own without the surgery. The wound was the size of a dime. There was no way I could afford that and they don't offer payment plans. So after deciding I just took home ointment and antibiotics and my cat is almost all healed which they said waa not going to happen without surgery.
