DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!! I brought my baby here for a 1 inch hot water burn on his leg on a sunday (my pediatrician's office was closed) and i woke up with DCFS at my door the next day. The NP Xiomara Nieto did not express any concern during the visit, and asked exactly what caused the burn. The baby had a blister from the burn, which the nurse practitioner almost popped herself because she was not holding the baby appropriately when assessing. My experience was the same as Emily. Midwest Express has unethical billing practices. Do not visit this chain of urgent care. They are AWFUL!  They will bill you codes that they never performed.   We went to Midwest Express for Covid-19 tests for my husband and I prior to visiting our elderly declining grandparent.   We had no symptoms, just wanted a test. I will advise you not to consider to visit for any reasons at all. They will charge an outrageous amounts that they did not even do. We went to Midwest Express for Covid-19 with my whole family back in May. We only need to stay in our own car and wait for the nurse to fill out the form and have the test done. It took 10 minutes for the whole procedures done for 3 of us. We never see the doctor at all during that visit. The only thing we did was filling out the form. I took my child in for COVID testing after being exposed and the staff told me the throat swab would take 3-4 days for results. Sounded reasonable to me, so I agreed and we did the swab. Now I'm sitting here at 7 days later with no results. I don't care to speak with a doctor - I just want the results so I can plan accordingly. I never would have spent a couple hundred dollars on this test if I had known the results would have taken almost as long as the mandatory quarantine length.

Kathleen, we are extremely sorry for the delay in receiving your results. 90% of our COVID-19 test results returned within 2-4 days but in rare circumstances, it may take up to 5-7 days depending on lab capacity. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

MEC is offering COVID tests, but after your test they send you a text with a notice you won't get results for 14 days. The info is worthless in 14 days, they are just stealing your copay money and not delivering anything of use. Everyone else is getting test results in 2-3 days. We have waited almost a week, with no answer as to when we might get a result. Total ripoff, don't waste your time

I'm really disappointed in this place. I scheduled an appointment for a COVID test last Tuesday (5/5) after I was exposed to a patient in the ER that I work in. The service at the time was efficient; the staff were friendly and helpful. I was told that I had to wait 4-5 days (Friday/Saturday) to receive a text message that included a link to a virtual waiting room, where I would be told my results by a doctor. I called to schedule a COVID-19 test for multiple reasons: - I am a nurse currently working in a long term care facility. - I have been exposed to and in direct contact with multiple people who tested positive for COVID-19. - I have a doctor's order for the test from a physician in which I had a virtual visit. - I have experienced tightness of the chest in the past week. - I had a cough & sore throat several weeks ago. Went here for a Pap. First when I tried to schedule it the receptionist (don't know her name, she had long blond-ish hair and glasses) told me they didn't do Pap Smears despite both the website and Dr. Palumbo telling me they do. My wife took two of our kids there when they both had a fever. They were both given flu tests (negative), and they diagnosed my daughter w strep throat. They have her the test, but felt w the symptoms were enough for the diagnosis. They put her on antibiotics and we were on our way. My son continued to get worse, and I got him into his pediatrician.
