Two of three entrees were excellent, one was just okay. Service and ambiance were excellent as always.
We had a wonderful table for two by the fire, and the appetizers and main dishes were great. The dessert, a chocolate mousse, was odd. It was the consistency of clay, not like a mousse at all. Not sure if this was intentional! I didn't eat it, but I didn't like to ask.
Absolutely fantastic food. Have eaten in both the Tavern and the Restaurant and each occasion has been memorable.
Everything was good except one person's soup was obviously microwaved. It was served to him half cold and half hot.
I have eaten at Mirabelle Tavern a number of times. The food is varied and always very good, and the setting is lovely. I would recommend Mirabelle Tavern for lunch or for a special dinner
the choice of wine by the glass was just ok ....and the noise level was almost unbearable .....had a 8pm seating ...always like to support Guy at both of his restaurants so i just try to get past the noise factor - just wish it were a bit quieter and then once the music starts it is really difficult to have a conversation .
A wonderful restaurant with great ambiance, tasteful food and a wonderful staff for an outstanding dining experience.
We love the Tavern. Food is first rate and service, even when the restaurant is busy with weddings, reunions, or just merry crowds, is quick and efficient.
This was my first time at the Tavern and I have to be honest I was a little disappointed. They were out of the foie gras which is one of the reasons we chose Mirabelle for dinner. My steak which I ordered MR came out more like MW they offered me a drink or dessert to make up for my overcooked steak. The service however was great and Tina our waitress was very accomodating.
