For me , I would say that this place is perfect for my Mother. My step Dad still wants me to keep looking though, and I have only seen 4 places as of 3-19-2012. He did say that this was a better price, and he like myself, like that it is all memory care focused.

If I could rate them a zero I would. The staff tries their best but they are extremely understaffed. Approximately 1 caregiver per 10 people that need to be changed, fed, etc. 1 med tech for about 60 people my mother was always dirty teeth not brushed so her breath was foul. UTI almost every month because they wouldn't change her. They would double up her diapers so they wouldn't leak. The food was abysmal but getting a little better right before I pulled her out. But examples are boiled celery as a vegetable. Canned pork an... read more

We apologize that this has been your experience with our community, but we can assure you that the medical care of our residents is our top priority. We follow all staffing regulations set by the state of California, and at no time do we have one caregiver responsible for 10 residents nor one med tech responsible for that number of residents. We have chef-prepared meals and a full service dining room, and we do not used canned goods in these meals. We understand the difficulties that come from having a loved one in memory ca... read more
The price was reasonable that's within my budget. Overall, I was not happy with the place. Took my wife out in 2 months. Not recommend! The housekeeper kept removing things from the room without my permission, didn't periodically check if restroom was clean, and didn't speak English.
Business response:
We know that people have many choices when looking for a senior living community to call home. We apologize if our community was not a good fit for you. We wish you and your wife the best of luck in your new home.
My loved one didn't get the care they needed. I was told they could handle them, but after a while they were constantly complaining about the trouble my loved one was causing them. If your loved one is low maintenance, then this place is great, but if they are high maintenance then this place is not for them.
Housekeeping could be better and he kept taking things out of our room without permission. The staff need better training. They also needs someone who understands English better.
