We were very impressed and happy with the attention and courtesy we were shown during an Emergency for our precious 13 year old Maltipoo ,she had a cluster of seizures during a 24 hr period .Thank goodness they are open 24 hrs a day ,because Emergencies don’t seem to happen 9-5 They were prompt and very attentive to us and Lexie ,got her on medication and watched her to make sure she could tolerate the medication. I m very happy we took her to Mission Vet specialty and Emergency.

I have taken two of my pets to three different specialties at mission (internal medicine, surgery, and neurology) and am very grateful for the care they have received. One of my dogs is a frequent patient due to her idiopathic epilepsy and I appreciate all the time and effort the neurology team has spent on her (especially Dr. Cooper), including prompt responses to my frantic emails, ongoing discussions of her case outside of vet visits, quick prescription refills (and willingness to send prescriptions to outside pharmacies)... read more

I brought my dachshund home today after I brought him in to this facility on Saturday. I live on about 10 acres and had to look for Elvis when he couldn’t be found with my other dachshunds and golden retriever. I found him unable to walk, breathing fast, with a fast heart rate, and in significant pain. I drove him to their facility (a 90 minute drive) and briefly told the tech what happened (at midnight). They got him back quickly, asked me prior to giving any interventions or tests, and we had a clear plan quickly in place.... read more

Some backstory for my dog Toby. My dog has had a horrible coughing for years. It would keep him up all night and he wouldn’t rest well cause of it. I have been to many doctors that have said he had a heart condition and nothing could really be done about it. Going to a specialist was my next step recommended by my current family pet vet. I was hoping for answers to why my boy was having this nonstop with no relief in sight. Turns out the doctor at MissionsVet said he had Chronic Bronchitis. First time a vet had told me a di... read more

MissionVet has an incredible collection of veterinarians with a wealth of knowledge. They treat our pups as their own. In the event that we need their specialities, I know we're in good hands at Mission.

Thank you Mission Vet for taking such good care of Dixie Belle. In July we brought Dixie to Mission Vet to see Dr Witsberger for what we thought was an orthopedic issue. He examined Dixie and determined it was not a ortho issue. He took the time to have Dr Cooper look at her and they determined it was a Neurology issue. They had her do some lab work and started on antibiotics. Dixie has been diagnosis with neosporosis. Thanks to Dr Witsberger, Dr Cooper, and staff Dixie got diagnosed and started treatment very quickly.

Three months ago, my favorite dog, Hunter, went lame on his back right leg. My dad gently told me I needed to put him down. My friend said I didn’t have much of a choice. Dr. Witsberger and Dr. Garcia said they could fix him. I didn’t know them. Could I trust them? I didn’t know. Dropping him off for surgery was the lowest point. The recovery was rough. We both learned we can do hard things. Today on our morning walk, Hunter pounced on a dead squirrel. We walked for an hour, and he never dropped the squirrel once. He strutte... read more
