RecommendedThey overcharge for the deductibles and try to bully you into treatment that is not covered by your insurance companies. By the way I had been a patient for over 10 years and never this type of treatment.The bullying yes… I stand my ground on that but never not up for discussion. I don’t recommend any Monarch Dental or any company that is affiliated with Smile Brands. And not because of the staff at this Monarch in Mesquite. The dentist and staff at this location are actually good people but the higher up management are terrible, all they care about are numbers. They don’t have any consideration for their managers, dentist or anyone that works for them. I arrived and the X-rays and meeting with dentist was and plan designed was above and beyond expectations showed me videos etc. it all changed at meeting with and discussing cost and payment expectations . They handed me a quote for $13,000.00 with implants to hold dentures in place there was no second quote without . I started to explain I had a second policy that had been explained 5 times before seeing the dentist and she stated let me rerun numbers I agreed sit down . there was nothing about this dentist office that I would recommend to anybody the staff is rude and hateful I've been a patient for for 5 years now they don't offer the services they used to have to send me to a different dentist to get my teeth worked on

I came for the advertised 'free cleaning' and rcvd a list of 'needs' totalling about $12000...and was refused the cleaning requested...no thanks.
720 for a tooth to be pulled 100 dollar co pay with no payment option offered on the first visit I’ve never paid for a tooth to be pulled out indeed I’m in pain indeed I have a infection indeed the tooth needs to be pulled I have insurance aswell but my point is it cost 700 dollars is a quarter of what I’d pay to replace all of my back teeth so I can eat properly pulling a tooth should be a bear minimum expense but these days it’s anything to make money 🥲🥲🥲🥲not about how they can assist you Financially and it’s becoming... read more

RecommendedFYI... With COVID cases being spiked across the U.S. I have to admit that Monarch Dental is doing everything to keep their employees and patients safe. I went to Monarch last week for a cleaning and I felt safe because of the protocols. I also had an appointment at another oral surgeon dental office and that office was nasty. I had a bad experience. Was in the chair for about an hour and a half. Was getting an I tooth extracted. Man....I never experienced pain like that... Lidocaine was not working...Probably like 12 shots. I experienced so much trauma that blood clot never formed and I got dry socket. All the staff was nice...friendly. But when the DDS got down to business... it was brutal. 12 shots of Lidocaine.... and I still felt everything. To each his/her own. I will not be going back.
