I have owned a MaxSeal pet door from Moore Pet for many years and for the most part have been happy with it. But there is a major design flaw in the flap of the door that causes it to rip at the grommet. I have spent hundreds of $'s replacing parts to maintain this door. In the past Moore Pet has been helpful, and even offered me a discount in the Spring to order a new and improved flap that is on a hinge. Now I am speaking with Brandy today, and she refuses to honor the offer stating that they do not give discounts. So they... read more

MaxSeal pet doors do carry a pro-rated 6 year warranty. If the warranty is expired unfortunately the customer would be responsible for the replacement part cost, but if this door is within the 6 year warranty, please feel free to contact us back at 608-781-7385.
I would give negative stars if I could. I ordered 32 guillotine doors from this company. 30 of them were regular size and two of them were extra large. They are for a boarding kennel I am renovating and it is a construction site. I did not open the boxes when they arrived so I could keep everything together in one place. Upon installation I realized they made the mistake of not sending the slide bars for the extra large doors. I had an "off-sized" window, so I called in. The representative on the phone was very friendly and knowledgeable, and helped me choose the right door for my needs (side sliding window catdoor insert). The door arrived well-packaged, and was so simple to install. My cats were outside within a half hour of the door installation. Thank you for the excellent service and product. My cats are happy!
This is the best electric doggie door used with a magnet on collar of dog so that no critters can come in at night. We've had it for about 12 years and helps with our dogs so much.
