We had a good tour at Morada Friendswood, and I felt it would have been a suitable place for my parents. It was just up to them to decide which of all the suitable places we saw that they preferred.

This was a great community for memory care they just had a limited number of rooms available and were full at the time we needed.

We left Morada because they were raising her rates because of the level of care that she was needing, they were charging her a lot of money. But we were pleased with the facility otherwise. It is a really nice place especially if you are more ambulatory.

We chose Morada Friendswood because of the location, the size of her room was large (she was able to fit all of her antique furniture), and it was beautiful. Her room does not have a kitchen but they did give us a refrigerator and microwave. They do charge extra for memory care medications and for help with bathing, so it did increase the price. I have recommend them to several families, the facility is very clean, the people here seem well taken care of, and the staff really care about their residents. I feel that my mom is... read more

I would tell others to look at the community. They are the best value for the dollar. I have shopped several times for other family members. There are a couple of staff members who are functioning illetrate and they are not easy to deal with. Their meals are not diabetic friendly and they don't have any diabetic meal options to my knowledge. The overall appearance is very appealing, and it is in a great town. I think COVID has impacted services, staff, and overall performance.

I'm not able to go inside due to the pandemic, but I can pick up my loved ones to take them to lunch, and they seem to look good and well cared for. They are very happy here. From what I did see upon moving them in, the facility is so inviting. All the rooms are on two sides of a huge hallway that's more like an atrium or a street. When you walk outside your room, you feel like you're in a mall. There are chairs outside the rooms to sit and visit. It's wonderful. I'm really happy with the environment they're in. The room is ... read more

More affordable. We liked the community areas, but the rooms seemed small and I wasn't impressed with the kitchenette rooms.

This community is very welcoming and the care services were good. The meals and dining were great before covid, but our loved one started to dislike the meals when they were having to be delivered to their rooms. Once covid came around the people we were comfortable with had left. It was a nice community, just very expensive and our loved ones room was small for the price we were paying.

The staff are very caring and they have taken very good of my dad. My dad is a difficult patient because of his dementia but they have cared for him. The staff are very good at facetiming with us so we can see each other. The communication is good. We chose this community because of its location and its reputation. I would absolutely recommend this community to other families. We have gotten to know the staff on a personal level and they treat our family like their own family.
