Seems nice, but we would like a bigger unit more like a 1 bedroom with a study
My overall impression of this facility looks more like a nursing home. It seemed a bit older and it was a lot more expensive. I have had a very good personal experience overall during our appointment visiting with them. I have a friend over there as well who has a loved one in the facility. They tell me that everything is going well for them.

We will be moving my father in law to another community, because he is not happy here. However it is not the community we have a problem with, it just was not the right fit for him. They have a friendly staff, and they do a good job with the cleanliness around the community. It is a nice community with kind people. We will be moving him to closer location to us, and hopefully that will help the transition easier.
We toured Brookdale Friendswood and I also knew someone that was in the memory care section. I thought the memory care rooms were nice. I didn't care too much for the setup in the assisted living side. It wasn't the bright and open atmosphere we were looking for. It seemed to have an institutional feel. It wasn't the right fit for our loved one.
This is a very nice community and the staff did a very good job with our tour here, they showed us all around and answered our questions. the rooms were nice but the price range was not what we had set for my mom's budget. I would recommend coming for a tour.
This community just didn't feel like the right fit for my grandmother. It just gave us the feeling more along with lines of a nursing home rather than a assisted living community. There just didn't seem to be enough going on the residents didn't seem to be out and about socializing as much as I would have expected. The community was nice and clean and the staff was courtesy and professional.
I am happy with a community and the care that is being received. The community is clean and they have had a good variety of meals that are healthy. They list of activities are offered for the residents that want to a participant .We would recommend the care and the value for other families for the care of a loved one.
My mom was a little hesitant at first to the move but she seems to be adjusting very nicely now. They offer a wide variety of activities which she does participate in the ones of her choice. The staff is very friendly and on hand for any questions that may arise. Mom is not a picky eater so the food suits her just fine. It is an absolutely clean environment. It has a very homey feel. The fact of why she likes it there is she is comfortable being surrounded by her peers.
We REALLY LOVE this place, it is outstanding! The staff give my mother the care that she needs, and we like that the facility is smaller and more personal. Even from the time that I spoke over the phone with this facility, I knew that this was the perfect place for my mother! We are very pleased with her stay!
