I been a resident for 4 years. I'm so happy with the care I receive and no complaints about this place. I strongly recommend this place for the outstanding care from the care staff and food is great activities are great. I love the axe throwing.
The current director left and they are hiring a new one, not sure if she was let go or left of her own accord, hopefully things will improve with new management. They also have recently re carpeted the facilities and repainted and they did a nice job with that. It looks really nice now.
My family and I were nervous about moving my Aunt into an Assisted Living, but she has loved living at Morada Quintessence. It’s a smaller community that she doesn’t feel overwhelmed in. The care staff has been amazing and we have nothing but great things to say. Will be recommending this community.
The Morada Quintessence community has been very good to my husband. I was out of country during his respite stay, but several of our children and friends went to see him. He was always well cared for. Based on the experience we have had with the community, we would recommend them to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

The meals and dining need improvement! The NM standard of care is low, 15-1! It's impossible to function adequately with the level of care at assisted living with 1 staff to 15 residents- the staff they do have are over worked- 12 hour shifts. But they do the best they can. No one is neglected! Unless they run out of food- which they have- or don't have a dishwasher and use plastic.
It was a good experience for us. The residents that are moderate in care level will do well in the community. The more advance care services your loved one needs, the less the community maybe able to care for your loved one. The staff communication with the family was great, and they always returned the family's calls. The community has an open door policy and this allowed family to see our loved one when we wanted to.
We went with Morada Quintessence because I liked that it was all inclusive so the amount that is agreed upon in the contract stays the same each month. For assisted living it was still affordable but gave her all the care that she needs. It is a smaller facility and I like that because you know all of the staff and of the residents and it makes it feel like a true community. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.
We chose Morada Quintessence because it was a single level facility, the way it was built it is in a circle so it is impossible to get lost, and the location is close to all of our family. A couple of other things that stuck out to us were the amount of great activities that they had provided and they do also have a nurse that is on staff. Overall it was a pretty good experience.
We chose Elmcroft because of the part of town it is located in and it did get good ratings and reviews when we were looking. The apartment sizes here are perfect size for her and what she needs. The staff members are all very friendly and helpful. The administrative staff could use some improvement on communication we felt though. Overall I would recommend to others looking.
