My 98 year old father moved into Elmcroft last January 2020 . He has a small studio that we made into his new home. He is quite happy with it. He moved in from a larger independent community and found Elmcroft easier to navigate. Recently Elmcroft has been put on lock down due to the Co-vid 19 virus. I am especially pleased that the staff purchased portable laptops so I that I could connect face to face with my father. My mother just recently passed away. We moved her to Elmcroft in early June, 2019. She adjusted very well there. The food was an improvement from where she lived before. [name removed] the social director is phenomenal! Mom really liked the staff. They treated her very well. I don't remember all their names, but [names removed] the med techs and the German lady, (I can never remember her name!) etc. Receptionists [names removed] went out of their way to help us. We toured Elmcroft and it is a beautiful community! It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the dining area and outdoor courtyard are wonderful! During the tour, we had a LOT of questions and the staff really took their time answering them all. We liked that each room has a LARGE bathroom as well as a kitchenette. We also liked that the building is one story, so Mom doesn't have to worry about stairs or elevators. When we were told the cost is one flat rate, that really put my mind at ease. Very clean, the staff was welcoming and offer a variety of care. I liked the different sizes of rooms. I liked the outdoor area as well as the large dining space. Overall, it was a really nice place and we are strongly consider Elmcroft.
Nice place...the rooms don't have kitchens...just didn't get the warm fuzzies here...more expensive
I wanted mom to have the experience of what it would be like living in this sort of environment so we booked a 2-week stay here. As it turned out this was not what mom would want she prefers to be in her own home. The staff was nice and very attentive and as promised on the website did wellness checks every few hours. The food was good or at least she had no complaints about it. The assisted living environment just did not suit moms lifestyle.

I am pleased with this community and everything they did for my mother while she was in there care. She was only there for a short period of time but she absolutely loved it while she was there. My mom often participated in many if not all of the great activities they had to offer the residents throughout the week especially the exercise classes she really enjoyed those. Everyone was very happy and helpful and I was very impressed with how things went while she was there. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone look... read more

The community I saw from the tour I had was great. I liked the guy who ran the community. He had a great attitude and I almost picked this one. However, based on our budget it was a little too high priced. It is a nice and newer facility.
