I had a very bad experince with Dr. Munk. He was late of about 45min and once I went to the front desk to complain about the wait the receptionnist moved me into a room and told me to wait there. 30min later (alone in the room), I go to see the receptionnist, which answers very rudely that Dr. Munk is busy with other patients. First of all, I'll say I come from a family of doctors so you'll find no general anti-doctor bias with me. I went to Munk's office following a referral from the public system. I can echo other commenters' concerns here about being rushed (maybe ten minutes spent with the doctor), having little time to receive a quality medical consult from Dr. Munk, and being immediately pressured into their quasi-cosmetic boutique to purchase products that he could have just given me a prescription for (e.g. retinol, which can cost as littl... read more

He was really quick to recommend the most complicated and expensive option for what should have been a standard mole removal, and the procedure was either badly done or a poor choice, since it left a huge jumpy scar and only affected pigmentation. He was pretty keen to shill his products, too.

Removal of a mole is a treatment done daily at the clinic. Although each patient's healing process is personal and not always predictable. Some persons naturally have difficulty healing and their bodies can create a keloid scar. The good news is, we have solutions to help you with your scar.
I went there for adult acne and pigmentation spots. My appointment was for 1h15 and I had to wait until 2h15 (not expected from a private clinic) to finally have the consultation with the nurse!! After the long wait, I got introduced to the room by the nurse with whom I spent 10 / 15 mns talking about my case. Prices are insane: it’s 200$ per skin concern. That’s right folks! Got a mole you want to have checked out?? that’s 200$! got a scar?? That’s another 200$! This is beyond ridiculous. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews. This dr has a premium subscription with ratemd and removes negative reviews.
