I didn’t have a good experience. I have issues with acne. My last appointment, I paid 200$ for the consultation. I was prescribed a cream that didn’t work. And had to pay another 200$ for another consultation. I don’t think it’s fair for me to be out 400$ for the wrong prescription for my skin. I brought this up with no willingness to help to make it more affordable.

Acne is different for everyone and taking action sometimes require switching prescriptions , creams and treatments. Don't give up, clear skin can be in your future.

On m'a référée au Dr Munk lorsqu'il était encore dans le système public. Je l'ai trouvé exceptionnellement attentionné et efficace (rigoureux mais rapide, et à l'écoute). Depuis son départ pour le privé, je l'ai revu une fois et il a identifié chez moi un problème cutané très rare, pour lequel il m'a prescrit un médicament oral qui a fonctionné à merveille - merci! I think this guy is nice but that is about it; I felt his treatment was average and that the clinic was more about money than anything else. Trying to get me to buy expensive creams. Pas trop impressione avec ma visite.
Waited more than an hour for an appointment. The doctor was very nice however not sure if i needed all those expensive products for my skin. Decided not to buy them. Only taken the pills. I went there with the hair loss and was told to come back in 3 months. The only reason i went private is because the waiting time to see the dermatologist is crazy

The reason we went private was to offer patients a way to avoid long wait list that have become the norm for dermatologist. We want to make ourselves available for the needs of our patients.
I had a terrible experience at Dr Munks office. Total lack of professionalism from the Doctor. He proposed a treatment on our first meeting telling me that I was a good candidate for Picoway laser. (I drove 6 hours to meet him because he had that particular laser) Then, on my second meeting with him (They previously had me talking to the nurse for 30 minutes while changing rooms 5 times!) It is unfortunate that we where unable to meet your needs, Not everyone is a candidate for certain procedures and protocols are in place to consider patients safety first.
I called and asked if I should go to to a cosmetic or to a medical appointment. I told the receptionist it was regarding Melasma. They said that is was medical. So I booked an appointment. Dr. Munk saw me for less than 10 min, barely looked at my skin and told me to go to the cosmetics and to the boutique. If I would've gone to the cosmetics right away I would've had a Chemical peel for 200$... instead because of the way I was advised, I got 10 min with the Doctor to be told to go to the other side... so now the Chemical pee... read more
Dr. Munk's intake form asks what you don't like about your face and not your medical history. He took an invasive biopsy of my husband who has a medical problem which makes this a risk. We were told we "would be called if there was anything wrong with the biopsy."
