I was never told that you secure mortgages to sell to others. I am aware of the practice but should have been told that that was the goal. I did not hear from Brian but a couple times. Mi was trying to keep me in the loop but it seemed like she was not getting the info to pass on to me. I am having to get "proof" that my Capital One acct was paid off and closed, even after I told you that it was. I had to reschedule three times (almost four) because attorneys (or someone) forgot something or

The underwriter that Maiahn was feeding documents to was a bit whacked out. The person that solicited myself to begin with quit. That left Maiahn in a bind. She performed admirably, but the length of time this took was beyond excessive. Then FedEx destroyed the Timios papers that were overnighted to Sovereign. We had to do that twice.

Sun Kim was excellent. She deserves a major pay raise. She picked up this process when others had let it with no action. I began this process last summer. After collecting the data I heard nothing until well into the fall. The first agent was apparently was promoted and my case was not transferred to a new agent until I called to find out why I had not heard anything. It was at that time that Sun Kim became involved. There were many stops and starts in the system. Talked to Mr. Pham once.

Brian Pham's portion of our experience was great, but the issues arose when attempting to close the loan. The initial Senior Loan Processor was not responsive at all. We began the process in September 2020, but did not close until January 2021. We did not start gaining traction...proceeding through the underwriter process, until we were assigned another Senior Loan Processor.

This was the most unpleasant experience we ever had with a financial institution. The closing was delayed a month and we almost lost the house and our earnest money. We were told that SLG staff prefers to do refinancing instead of new mortgages and our mortgage package was simply set aside with no action. Additionally we were constantly told that SLG has everything they need from us only to be asked for additional documentation almost every other day. They need a “checklist” of documents needed.

You sent me a Notary who had no idea what she was doing, 5 days later she came back and said that she had made a mistake and that I had to sign the papers again, this was no fault of the veteran but you have made the veteran suffer, Mrs Gomez has no respect for a veteran and she doesn't return phone calls, she is part of the problem as well. This is the worst closing that I have ever been part of and I have had 12 house before this one. Vietnam veteran Bobby Whitney
