What a waste of money my purchase was. The quantity 4 Emerald Green Arborvitae I received are barely 1 foot tall and cost $45 each. I could have purchased the exact same plant at my local Lowes for $49 that are over 5 foot tall, and that is exactly what I will do later today. No wonder this company sells plants based on container size. If they listed plants by actual size they would likely sell very little. Never again.

Placed a order on April 5th, we received a shipping confirmation shortly after with a delivery date of April 11th by the end of day. We never received our tree. I checked the tracking number again a few days later and it now had a delivery date as pending. I called and spoke to a CSR who told me there was a new tracking number. The new tracking number gave us a delivery date today. No tree arrived and once again when I click on the link it now shows pending. I will be requesting a full refund on Monday.

Avoid this so-called nursery. They are only a drop-shipper and have no fields and grow no plants. I cancelled a 500 dollar order just hours after ordering and was charged $50 cancellation fee. Plus, it is taking 10-12 days to see my refund (although they charged my credit card immediately).

This company is slow to ship, cannot provide meaningful status updates or timelines, and do not allow orders to be canceled. Definitely would not order from here again.

I purchased 3 royal empress trees from Nature hills, the first 3 arrived dead in the spring. The replacements arrived in late September. I planted these in pots and brought them into a well lit garage for the winter. 2 of them did not make it. No warranty as the garage was not a good place to store them. I could have left them outside with the same results, but all 3 would be dead. Never doing business with this company again, ever!

I give them no stars if I could. I purchased five bare root dappled willow bushes in early May and followed the planting instructions explicitly. When they did not come out of dormancy, I called for warranty. Having not purchased a full warranty, I was informed they would cover 40% of the cost of new ones and I would be responsible for shipping costs. Isn’t that like paying twice for possibly nothing! Even my local garden store gives a full 1 year warranty.

I ordered a #3 lemony Lace bush. I received a barely #1 plant in a #3 pot. What a rip off for $78.90 including shipping.

2 months and still waiting on my fruit trees. Thats 2 months of the most prime growing season. Im told they will come, but when? Even if they arrive there will be insufficient time to root before our harsh winter. So an entire growing season is wasted, and im out a couple hundred bucks. This company sucks. They are set up to screw customers in so many ways. Stay away!

Terrible store! DO NOT TRUST NATURE HILLS! They do not stand by their product or treat the customer right! They sent me a tree with a broken leader and then would not refund my money! Horrible customer service and YOU CAN NOT TRUST THEM! I have never had an online plant nursery not stand by their product. You are better off with Bluestone or American Meadows!
