Great evening to celebrate a coworkers send off to the Peace Corps!
We were celebrating a birthday and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere!
I had read reviews and looked at the menu. When I made our reservation, I asked for a quiet seating. We ordered the pear cocktail, shared the wrapped prunes and the beet appetizers. We both ordered seafood entree and shared the dark chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was gorgeous, flavorful and interesting. Service was excellent. There seem to be 3-4 distinct seating choices, including large bar area & patio. We will return and try other menu items & seating. Nesso is our new favorite restaurant in Indianapolis.
The food was amazing and our server, Rebecca, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Do not come expecting a lot of heavy, tomato based pasta. It is much lighter and there is more seafood (because-coastal!) I highly recommend the scallops and the carpaccio, but everything was great. You won't be disappointed.
Good food. Good service. Prosciutto wrapped prunes were great. Trout was excellent. Aperol spritz was a good summer cocktail.
Loved Nesso. Beautiful space, great service. Burrata was fantastic as were my scallops. My fellow diners enjoyed their halibut and ravioli as well
Our dinner for three on Thursday evening was wonderful. We split an asparagus salad that was perfectly prepared. I had salmon as my main course and it was excellent. What's more, I was very "complete" upon finishing this dish. Of course that didn't stop me from enjoying a healthy portion Tiramisu to cap the evening. Service was perfect and the ambiance was ideal for conversation. By all means go!!!!
