All staff, from the receptionists to the assistants and the surgeons were warm, welcoming and very thorough and polite. Everything is explained clearly and they really do put out a very nice atmosphere for what can be some pretty scary and nerve racking procedures. I highly recommend.
I had a wisdom tooth extraction performed at the Worcester office in December. The procedure went fine and the staff were nice throughout the process. Curiously, I did not receive any follow up post-op which I would have expected given the nature of the procedure (going under anesthesia, etc). When I contacted the office 10 days post-op requesting a call back from the medical staff to discuss continued pain in the extraction site, I was informed someone would contact me within 24 hours but no one ever did. Don't waste your time calling if you are in pain and need a tooth pulled. Not one ounce of empathy. Office manager suggested if I took care of my teeth then I wouldn't need emergency extraction. Thanks for sharing that little bit of info to someone who told you they are terrified of dentists!
First time going to New England Oral & Maxillofacial. The Receptionists were friend. The hygienist and Dr were friendly. They made sure we felt comfortable. Also answers questions we had. Definitely recommend them.
I personally am a very scared person when it comes to anything that comes to dental work. From small to big procedures, I would avoid getting treatment done solely on the fact I’ve had bad experiences prior. Dr. Tony Kang made me feel at ease, went over step by step what we are doing today and would do for post-procedure to make sure everything healed properly. Thank you Dr. Kang and New England Oral Surgery!
