Getting this surgery is the biggest regret of my life. I had surgery on my upper and lower eyelids. During my consultation, I expressed I did not want my almond shaped eyes to change. Dr. Jacono promised me that they wouldn't and that I would have no scarring. The outcome was horrific! I had huge round eyes, like saucers, with scarring above and below both eyes. I went to this Doctor for a "non-invasive" mid face lift. He did one of the most invasive surgeries ever leaving me with extensive nerve damage and a totally fake look. My family and friends say I don't look like myself. He cut inside my mouth - into my upper gums which are now numb. Food gets stuck in my upper mouth because I cannot feel the tissue. Dr. Jacono was shockingly unprofessional during my follow-up visit after 4 Fraxel laser resurfacing treatments. While viewing my before & after photos, I expressed that I saw no difference in the 2 photos. When he zoomed in on the area of my face with the deepest acne scarring, he said laser resurfacing could never improve this area. I asked why no one mentioned that during my initial consultation. Went in for a face lift. Was oversold and OVERPAID for a brow, mid face, full face and endocopic lift. He charged and I paid for a 12 hours process that was 4 hours less. I have been to other doctors since to correct what is a lop-sided, too tight look. Dr Jacono is a fast talker without giving much information and swish he's out of the room. I do not recommend Dr. Jacono. I broke my nose several years ago and I was left with a bump on my bridge. I also had a droopy tip and I felt my bridge was too wide and my tip too bulbous. I addressed all these concerns with Dr. Jacono during my consultation, he did the image altering on the computer. After the surgery, I was completely miserable. I just read the comments posted on 1/3/11 and can say I have had the same awful experience with this surgeon. I have permanent nerve damage on both sides of my face among numerous other injuries, he was late for my surgery and intended for his fellow to do it, he refused me adequate follow-up, denied me my records for many months, and then when I did get them they were replete with lies and omissions. Run, do not walk, away from this man. Unlike the poster of the 1/3/11 comments I am going to pursue my case against him.
I agree. He thinks he knows a lot more than he does, is very arrogant and rude. Not only am I still paying for this surgery gone bad( took place over 2 years ago)but am suffering physically and emotionally with permanent nerve damage, hematoma,crooked smile , twitching, tghtness, pain and more. He was late for my own surgery, and didn't show for 2 weeks post operation when i had serious issues that needed to be attended to and treated correctly.
