One of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. After having previously gone on the rum runner, I thought this would be a phenomenal sunset sail for my grandparents who were in town for the night...made reservations over the phone for the sunset tour...get there over a half hour early to board the boat and they claim we never made reservations and continued to argue that I may have called the wrong place when reserving...even after showing them the number in my phone (we also live in Newport, we know who we're deali... read more

James, Carly and Captain Jeff were an awesome crew! They served ample beer & champagne to everyone while also providing us with entertainment and fabulous conversation. Their lively and fun personalities positively contributed to our bachelorette party sunset sail!

I have never been more appalled at the quality of customer service. We booked a sunset sail for a bachelorette party, it was the bride's ONE request for the weekend. The woman who handled our booking told us the wrong time of departure. When we arrived we watched the boat taking off (they wouldn't hold it for us when they saw we were there). When we spoke with the manager about what to do, she insinuated we lied about the information we were given, would not issue us a refund, and continued to speak to is in a condescending ... read more

Don't miss this if you're visiting Newport. The crew is really friendly and knowledgeable, the boat is beautiful and the ride is incredible. Bring a camera, and dress warmly. You'll have a great time.

We had a great time sailing on the Madeleine. Although it was June it was a chilly day to begin with and was freezing on the boat-the boat does have blankets but they weren't enough to keep me warm. Just keep that in mind for future voyages. I would definitely have enjoyed it more. Complimentary beverages like water and iced tea are supposed to be included but the staff didn't hand them out. The crew was friendly. This was a sail, not a tour so don't expect much instructions/directions/tips on what you pass or see. I would d... read more

Had blast on a midday sail this weekend. It definitely was chilly while in the water, so come prepared! But, the boat has blankets in case you think you dressed warmly enough, but really didn't. Captain Dave was great! He sailed, pointed out landmarks, and answered question about the island that we had. Our sail was probably a little different than most because we were around during the Volvo race, so the area was concentrated and there was a party going on at the Fort. Anyway - take the tour! If you happen to do the day-ti... read more

Excellent value ($30/person) and great tour of the bay. The tour is 90 minutes, and if you get a windy day like we did, you get the real sailing experience. The crew members were very knowledgeable and friendly. The boats holds 40 passengers, and it is big enough to seat everybody comfortably. Highly recommend this tour company and their day sail tour.

Beautiful Schooner...well kept with a friendly crew of 3. The sunset sail at 6:30PM was packed. Everyone had a good seat as we departed for the bay. The views of the bay, Newport and Jamestown are superb. Champagne, beer, soda and water flowed non stop...they did a great job making sure no one was thirsty. The crew was very good about pointing out landmarks and special points of interest. For $40pp...this was a great experience. Recommended !!

Booked a Sunset Sail in advance and the day was very foggy and cool out as a warm front was moving in. We went down early to check to see if they were going to sail as conditions were not improving and they said they "without a doubt!" I was still skeptical after talking to them around 4PM and my doubts were confirmed when we arrived for the 6:15PM boarding time.... The captain announces there are two problems one being him drinking a beer and two being the fog. Yes i get the joke and probably wouldve been funny if they were... read more
