It was not even busy. Waited at least 45 minutes from time we sat down to eat. Not good for trying to squeeze lunch in during the work day. Food was decent. Dessert amazing!
Went for restuarant week. I loved everything. Open table doesn't allow fractional stars so I gave it a 4 bc I don't give out 5s lightly. Strongly recommend. My favorite was the lamb and feta meatballs
Nia has a great menu for regular dining, the restaurant week menu was just a preview with 6 courses. Regular menu is around 6-8 courses, served tapas style. I went to check this out with a friend, and we loved the Nia salad, it's a must try! Cauliflower gratin was bland because they happened to serve it after the wonderfully spiced pumpkin gnocchi. The lamb & feta meatballs was another great dish, and they are well know for their bread pudding apparently. Oh my god..warm decadent pieces of bread pudding just melts in your mo... read more
The entire experience, especially the food and service, was phenomenal!! Will now be a regular there!
We went during restaurant week for the prix fixe lunch, which was delicious! I don't think there was anything we didn't like that we ordered! The restaurant is nicely decorated and there were only a few other patrons dining at the same time. Our waiter, while very nice, messed up several of our courses, and the hostess, who was helping run food to tables, kept bringing us the wrong food items. It would've helped if the waiter actually wrote down what we ordered. The food was delicious, even then items we didn't order! May go... read more
The main floor of this place looks fun and lively. There's a nice little bar scene right at the entrance and the main floor dining is directly behind. The decor looks great on this level. Unfortunately when we dined, we were seated down in the lower level. I think I'll call it the basement. It looked like a dining hall for special events. It has none of the ambiance of the upper floor. The lighting was sterile, the bar looked like something out of a 70s casino and the walls had fabric sound suppressors that reminded me of a ... read more
We arrived earlier than our reserved time, however, we were seated immediately. Service began readily after we made our menu choices. We were the least excited by the bacon wrapped dates, but it was something we wanted to try. While we appreciate the speedy service, at one point, our table was very crowded due to multiple plates brought out simultaneously. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and look forward to dining there again in the future.
We tried a variety of dishes since they are small plates designed to serve two people. Everything was excellent, however in hindsight, I would have skipped the skirt steak with so many other choices on the menu. The bread pudding was delicious.
I'd skip the kimchi; it was not my favorite. Nothing was particularly fantastic, but I will say that the price was right and the portions were generous.
