We had a lovely time at Nia. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Our server was very helpful with suggestions on the menu Will def return to try the 8 course tasting menu.
Food was fine -- nothing really special. Service was attentive -- but there were only 2 other tables occupied. Not sure how they are when it's packed. Nice restaurant, but nothing special.
Excellent food with good sized portions. All dishes are portioned for sharing which makes the experience more fun. Very friendly staff. I was really confused why this place was empty for lunch on a Thursday.
If you haven't been, you are missing out on great food and a perfect atmosphere. If you are ready to get the same quality food as girl and goat, sepia, bavettes, and the other restaurants in the area but tired of sitting elbow to elbow with the person next to you then Nia is the spot for you. I have been to all the nice restaurants in Chicago and Nia is one of my top 3.
Very quiet spot, great if you want to catch up with a friend! Food was great, not the best, however for the price portions are pretty big so eat up! :)
Six of us met at Nia for dinner. We had a wide variety of tapas and enjoyed them all. One of my favorites was the citrus cerviche. And the bacon wrapped dates are always delicious and hard to pass up. We all enjoyed the red sangria as well. The service was just right. Always there to take our orders and refill our wine glasses. I cannot think of anything negative to say about our evening. We all had a really fun time having a variety of different tasting foods. Next time we are in Chicago we will have to return.
We were the only one there for lunch. Portions were very large for a typical tapas. The food was good, not spectacular.
The pumpkin gnocchi were outstanding.
The menu was ordinary, but the server suggested the special small plate luncheon priced at $22 per person. Tapas choices were excellent and creative. Food was really delicious and served hot! The amount of food served was perfect. Plan on returning for dinner!!
