This is a tough call for me because I wanted to be adventurous and try something out of the box for me and finally try something new so I decided to give Mediterranean food a try. When I try new foods i usually go with friends that know the food but i chose this restaurant because they had a fixed menu which made picking food easier. i was surprised with the selection because I felt as though I was in a Spanish tapas place, I guess I was expecting something unique but it was lacking. It's a very romantic place and I enjoyed ... read more
Good food and service and had a great time with our party of four. Was not too noisy or over crowded would definitely come back and recommend. Enjoyed the 8 course menu had a mix of everything.
Had an early dinner so that we could make a music event down Randolph at City Winery. First time here and from beginning to end, the experience was great. Did the price fixe and each of the 7-8 courses were great. Would highly recommend.
Double Date night at Nia's last Friday, 9/13, was fantastic! We opted for ordering off the menu instead of the 8 option prix fixe. We ended up ordering the following - asparagus (great bacon, cheese, tomato relish on top), arugula & goat cheese salad (loved the yellow tomatoes), gnocchi (devine), eggplant involotini (good), beef brochette (marinated onions & horseradish cream happiness), bacon wrapped dates (could have eaten 20 of these), escarole (good), and finally one bread pudding (perfect ending). the plates are perfect... read more
My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant. We order the 8 course Prixe Fixe and everything was delicious. Most of our dishes were swimming in oil, but that is to be expected at a Mediterranean restaurant. Our waitress was not overtly friendly, but adequately attentive. The restaurant is very low-lit which I enjoyed and added to the romantic ambiance of our date night.
4 old friends went to Nia's Saturday night. It was not very full, but had been highly recommended. Marty was a great waiter and our food was delicious. Try it- best kept secret
I really enjoyed the ambiance, the food and service during my recent visit. I'm usually the one trying all new selections on menus, but we had a few picky eaters in the group. We went with the 8 course menu and enjoyed the Nia salad, bacon wrapped dates, crab cakes, the seasonal gnocchi in sage brown butter, saganaki, jumbo garlic shrimp, and I forget the name of the skirt steak. My favorites were the Nia Salad, Crab Cakes and Saganaki. I can't wait to go back to work my way through the menu!
Ate here with a coworker this evening. Sat outside on their small, but beautiful patio. Ordered bacon wrapped dates, crab cakes, calamari (fried), saganaki, spinach cigars and risotto. We both agreed that the food was fantastic. Also topped it off with Tiramasu and sautéed banana. Again - fantastic. Our waiter, Walker, was exceptional. He was extremely attentive, very helpful while ordering and brought a "tester" drink - which was to die for (vodka, crushed orange and soda). Highly recommend. I will absolutely be back.
We celebrated our 34! wedding anniversary here. The staff was fantastic. Took our photos. Brought us a gratis glass of champagne. made us feel super special. The food was fantastic!
