About Us In 1995, Sheri Fastenrath, DVM identified the need for an emergent care facility for owners and their pets in the Huntsville area. Unfortunately, there were not many overnight emergency options for medical treatment in the surrounding area. I brought my Lab in as a Emergency. Unfortunately, she didnt make it. The staff was very understanding and showed compassion. A ER is pricey.. either for the human or animal. Im just glad something was a available, when my regular vet was not.

Super nice and very quick. We called to tell them we were about 10 minutes away and they got info on why we were coming. We walked in the door and had papers ready to sign so they could take our puppy right back!!

The staff are so sweet and caring . I had Brought my 10-year-old Chihuahua in there last night he had been attacked by another dog. Luckily he was OK shaken up but he’s gonna be fine. They took their time and explained everything and I would highly recommend it if you need them.
Last night we were so scared of losing our dog and the safe saved him and made him comfortable
One of the most fantastic emergency and critical care hospitals in Alabama. Dr. Bell is very compassionate and extensive in her examination. The staff is so kind and understanding from the moment you walk in the door, to the nurses who handle your babies with such care and gentleness. I have never had a bad experience in this facility. I could rave about how thankful I am for each and every one of you helping me with my cats for over the years.
