Front desk offers no compassion, no empathy. Plus the 1st Vet we saw there misdiagnosed my poor pooch, then the next vet wanted to charge a second time for results the 1st one had supposedly reviewed already. They never responded to calls, and we wound up having to call them back. If you’re looking for a vet that will treat you like a number and is more concerned about what they can charge rather than how they treat better, this is the place. If you’re looking for a vet that cares, stay away from Novak.
My chocolate lab ate something and was very sick late Friday night. I called the emergency number, I did not hear from them that night, and I did call a second time. And I still have not heard anything from them until this day. Until this incident they had been dependable, but in the emergency, they scored a big F! Now there is a pattern, other people have had the same problem with emergency services not calling back.

Called the emergency line no answer called again said we were 9 year patients (which is true) and got a call back but gal on the phone actually said she would not call the vet in for my dog having trouble breathing. Sadly my dog had to be put down later that day. Novak seems to be in the dog suffering business. I used to highly recommend them but not any more:-(. We didn’t even discuss money so I’m not even sure why she would even say such horrible things to me while my dog was treatable and suffering.

You told my nurse you were not a client, your pet was not in distress, and that you just wanted an antibiotic injection. She could not call a doctor in the middle of the night based on the information you provided her at that time. We were very sorry to hear the situation took a turn for the worse on the other pages you have posted on. We do offer you our true sympathy for your loss. If you wish to discuss this matter further, please contact the hospital manager.
Pretty angry. I called the emergency line and left a message as instructed and never received a call back. My take on it? They little care for pet emergencies. Thanks.

We boarded our little cockapoo for six days and when I picked her up they said she only had one bowel movement her entire stay. She had feces all over her backside and hind legs and her body smelt like urine. Her pillow has feces all over it and her blanket has multiple wet spots with urine. She's well trained and the only reason she would pee in her kennel is if she wasn't let out over extensive periods of time. They charge the most for their boarding and I'm furious for the lack of care they provided for my pup.
