Check in was at 3, it is currently 4:15 and our 4 bedroom 3 bathroom condo is still disgusting. Not cleaning crew in site and no ETA? Awesome first day of vacation! Thank you for being completely worthless OIA!
OIA has always made vacations on Oak Island memorable for my family. Great rentals. Love Oak Island. Great beach and rentals for quiet vacations.
We rented a house last year from Oak Island Accommodations and we were pleased. While paying for rental they were very nice. We had one issue with a bathroom, they fixed it quickly and they even had doggy treats in the welcome pack for our dog. We just rented a house for this year. Oak Island is wonderful. It was a quiet family and pet owner location.
We just returned from our yearly vacation to Oak Island and everyone had a good time, but we were shocked by what we were NOT told about our beach stay. We have been staying at Summer Wind West, 6721 West Beach Drive, for several years and have enjoyed the house and the area around us. We had a family reunion inJuly2014. There was 40 of us. Some of us stayed at OakIsland Accommodations the other. MargretRudd. Some family live there . The Oak island acc were so filthy we all wanted to move, but nothing avail that late. Very disappointed in management. Almost. $2000. For filth. We were reimbursed $100 , 2 clean new. bedspreads, $75 giftcard to eat and a pack of light bulbs. BIG RIP OFF!!!!
Rented a house for a week that was quite expensive. The house was filthy and not will kept. House not ready as promised at 3pm and not 6pm. The bed linens had hair, bugs,stains, and dirt, bathrooms with feces/urine, toothpaste in sink, trash in shower, floors dirty, rugs not clean - full of sand and hair, bacon grease in microwave, refrigerator not working, thigh high weeds all around the grounds, roaches/bugs in house, crumbs on chairs and counters, furniture fabric dirty and uncomfortable, etc. Customer service poor - did ... read more
Have been coming to Oak Island and using Oak Island Accommodations for over 20 years; this the first time I have ever been so disappointed. Been here since 6/28/14 and have yet to get a hot shower. This is in spite of the fact that we've called maintenance every day. And this is an issue that was going on long before our arrival and one Oak Island Accommodations was well aware of.
