We liked the Oaks, and are actually making the final decision to put my mother there. The residents all seemed happy and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and joyful!. Alan has answered all of our questions and kept in touch through the entire process. The facilities were very clean. I thought I smelled cigarette smoke in one of the private rooms, but I realize that can’t always be controlled!

The Oaks Pooler is working out very well for us. We chose them because they were more willing to work with us on pricing and plans than any of the other facilities. My family is very familiar with this facility as our mother was also a resident there for years. It is so clean and organized. The staff is very nice and my brother is doing very well there. I've already recommended it to another Friend for her father

I've been very happy with the Oaks at Pooler. All of the staff is friendly and caring. Mom seems happy there, particularly since she was able to move in to quite a large room. 4. Because there's always room for improvement. No place is perfect.

My younger sister and I searched and researched assisted living facilities in the Pooler area. I live in Pooler and needed [name removed] closer to me. I have been the director of two facilities in Savannah so I know how difficult staying on top of everything can be BUT!!! Now I am dealing with my sister, my sister..,not just a resident. Serving the food upstairs is nonsense! It’s more work for the staff and there’s not even enough room for all residents to sit at a table. Dad was at the Oaks in Pooler for about 3 years before his passing last month. Shortly after arriving there, The Oaks had new owners so many employees were going and new was coming. It has been in a constant state of change and movement of employees. They seem to be finding a good stride now. However, with all this going on with employees and management, I can truly say dad received great care. He had advanced dementia and was getting worse as time went on.
