Ive been paying for ORHP since 2011 and have filed approximately 6 minor claims associated w/HVAC. I realize my call on a Friday in 100 summer may not be convenient for their service providers, but its not healthy for me to live in my home without/malfunctioning AC. Explaining myself to multiple ORHP **** was extremely frustrating. Someone finally said they could escalate to a different status with me finding a provider, me paying, & ORHP reimbursing me. Beware, this company will not help you, they offer an illusion to help but in actuality theyre helping themselves, youre just collateral. Stay away.

On The Gold Plan....After 7 visits from appliance experts I've had 1 of 4 appliances repaired. It took me 10 weeks and $200 in co-pays to get 2 freezer gaskets replaced. The first appliance company they sent out tore my cabinet, left off screwed and grommets and there is no recourse. They work to waste your warranty time by dragging their feet. I'm not impressed.

Like most other home warranty companies, they do everything in their power to try to not cover things. The customer service *** I spoke to on my first service call seemed intent on trying to find reasons why they wouldn't cover the issue vice trying to help me solve the problem and made sure I knew that I was going to be out $100 bucks if they sent someone out, whether they fixed the issue with the dishwasher or not. My problem is not resolved with my ac. The second hvac person won’t fix the issue. He says the first guy who didn’t fix the issue needs to come back. We have record heat next week. Not happy with my service.

Huge waste of money. The $75 payments ON TOP of the home warranty price are basically bottom of the barrel service providers that want to get in and out as quickly as possible. I paid for an AC tune up and the technician stayed for roughly 10 minutes before handing me a piece of paper to sign on the way out of the door. No time for questions asked. I paid for an electrician to visit to check on my flickering and weak lights. He was nice but ultimately did not offer any solutions before he left in less than 30 minutes.Theres ... read more

ORHP has the ************* ever. Missed expectation after missed expectation. Trades that are not quilted to make repairs. Now our third contractor and after record heats in ***, we have been waiting almost two months for repairs.

I highly recommend you record your phone calls with them. They are very courteous and always answer the phone but if you ever have claim you will find it impossible to get paid.I have ******* refrigerator that stopped cooling. They sent the first tech in June he couldn't repair it. They sent a second tech in July he also could not repair it, they sent a third tech in July. He said it was a bad compressor he summited for a replacement they denied it and told me because it would go over the amount they would spend because of t... read more

I know what my service fee is, but was perturbed that the contractor's bill was a lot less for the job he had to do. I could have saved money by just having someone come out on my own.
