ORHP agreed to payout $350.00 toward a new dryer purchase, after their repairmen failed to fix it three times. It's been two months and there's still no sign of that payout, and the service agent on my case hasn't responded in weeks. At this point I'd highly recommend looking for your home warranty elsewhere.

Worst company ever. 3 different plumbing issue in my rental property. It's been almost 2 weeks and 2 plumber assigned but neither plumber are available. I had to sent out a real plumbing company and pay out of pocket. 45 minutes on hold still not able to talk to someone. Old republic home protection is a fraud

They are not an honest company . Its more like fraud . They wont Honor work done that was against code . They lie

Not good response and bad costumer responsibility I have home warranty on old republic when I call them they said they are not covered on heating damage then why I need home protection if you guys not covered and long waiting for customer I had bad experience so

Impossible to get a human on the phone. Everything is overly automated. No choice over the vendor they send over. The vendor the system initially selected was awful and after an hour on the phone with a human (I was eventually able to reach), she did me the grand favor of switching to another vendor I requested (that was also on their approved list). Water heater has been broken for years now as a part of "protection", this warranty company has an extremely high threshold for what is considered "safe" for a home under their protection.They sent the plumber over under multiple different trade call fees and orders and the water heater remains unrepaired after more than 2 years of problems with the unit and the functionality.We end up spending two to three times the cost of replacing a water heater on their subscription fees.We do not recommend this company under any means.... read more

Told me last summer my rate was doubling since my house was over ***** feet which it isn't. I gave them both a recent appraisals as well as county tax bill. They refused to acknowlege these factual documents and then charged me 110 dollars for a service visit from a vendor I never had to my house. Doucmentation from the gated community I live in supports that this vendor never showed up at gate on the day in question...which we already knew and had told them. Worse home protection warranty you can have in your life !!! PLEASE DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with them. please dont trust this scammers. I filed two claims for my property (one for a pipe leak and another for an appliance issue) and scheduled appointments with the contractors assigned to each claim. Unfortunately, both contractors failed to show up. It's incredibly frustrating that there's no way to address this issue without speaking to customer service by phone or fax. Every time I call, Im left on hold for 30 minutes without reaching anyone. It seems impossible to get in touch with a live agent.
