I filed a work order with **** and they sent out a in network company. It was for a water pressure tank. Long story short, the job was not completed by the company, I called ORHW multiple times because the company is demanding double the charges and old republic is doing nothing to help me even though they are MY warrenty company that I payed alot of money for. Paid deductible for home warranty hvac claim. After sending contractor out Old Republic decided to say the claim was pre-existing with no proof except a conversation they claim they had with my husband which he says he never said that and said the problem has slowly gotten worse since we moved in and they denied claim. Me and my husband never stepped foot in the house before closing so there was no way we could have made a comment that it was pre existing. I filed a request to get my heater fixed back on 11/4/24. Winter started and we realized the heater was blowing cold during night time. They were extremely quick to get someone out and look at it. However after almost three months on feb 3 the first company came to fix my heater with the part they were waiting on. They ended up installing this new part but the part arrived broken or they broke it putting it on Im not sure. However he said hed be back in a week with a new part. I have had to call 3 times about my pool pump not working and you send out the same man/company. He works on it about 15 minutes, gets it running and leaves. A week or so later the same problem arises again.

I am very disappointed in their customer service. Ive had my refrigerator broken 4 times and they keep sending contractors to fix it despite the fact that it broke down 4 times. Instead of replacing the unit they keep having me pay for service calls and wait around for someone to repair it. Technicians have stated that they can fix the unit but it will most likely break down again and old republic ignores these reports. The worst experience! They do not properly vet companies they work with and extremely poor communication. Repairs are not done properly or in a timely manner. If I could give no stars, I would.

I have nothing good to say about Old Republic. I typically have to wait on hold for about 30 minutes before being able to speak to a person. My experience is that there seems to frequently be reasons why they cannot repair a problem.

Their hours of live operation is very limited and their automated system will assign an emergency to a vender that does not work on weekends. Have had 4 HVAC calls and the 3rd had to fix what the 2nd did. Declaration of Coverage is hard to follow, if you have Platinum Coverage there is no summary of coverage and you must hunt thru pages. The 4th HVAC vendor was a trained ***** Heat Pump Tech, and now I will only call during the limited hours of operation to request that HVAC company.

First off, the customer service representatives are great. But the contractors are terrible. The response time for requests have been decent. However, I have had issues with the service companies that they contract with. Some are rude and do not do any work. Prior to my most recent request, a plumber came to unclog a bathroom sink and advised that he did not have the tools because issue had to do with the clean out.
