Our first visit after hearing great things about this facility. What I had been told was spot on! Wide open showroom, friendly staff but gives you room to browse without being pressured. Check-in was pretty straight forward and I liked the iPad area to provide your personal information. The actual range area was roomy and comfortable as far as temperature. Good indoor range, but they are very picky with their targets and ammo. Employees are nice except for one particular one. This individual was being particularly pretentious and had a heavy "know-it-all" attitude. My experience was not bad but it was nowhere near exceptional. Consider other ranges as it will save you money and you won't have to deal with a certain witless individual.

The Orlando Gun Club is awesome!! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They are open to the public and offer rates that are fair enough for the occasional visitor. Needless to say membership has its perks and advantages. One being the members lounge. There are a few different memberships to meet each persons need. This facility is fairly new. Another no issue visit using the front counter help and the range. Of course I'm not trying to get in w/o proper credentials or age or ask outa bounds favors. I found the two employees I encountered friendly and helpful. I did have to remind them to post my 5% member discount on the range loads , but no love lost on that mistake in memory who I am. So two star experience ? Not yet for me. Haters gonna hate.

Rude costumer service. For three people to shoot I paid close to $150. Horrible experience.

This is a nice gun shop. It has the space though there is a lot of empty space. Perhaps the extra space is for more display cases in the future as they grow. Staff is nice and friendly. They didn't seem to push anything onto you. Lighting was good, ventilation was good. Why only 3 stars? They really need to control the crowding on the range lanes. The Range Safety Officer (RSO) needs to go in there and prevent people from hanging out in there. Most ranges has a maximum number of people per lane rule. Maybe this place does, m... read more

Came with a group of 5 .. and was told need to call ahead of time 45minuts they want us to go in only 2 person in a time, I told them we have more than one gun we want to use i pay for the use of more than one lane and was told you can only use one lane, the way that they handle the situation was mean. Also they want to check all amo, I like to bring my magazine lode in that manner is faster the use of the lane they make me unlode all amo for check I mention I don't use steel amo at all .... they don't care. Came in to do some late Father's Day shopping and was NOT greeted with a friendly staff. My 8 yr old son who was sitting by the gun range windows and was watching the people in the room shoot. He then was approached by a staff member and told my son to go back to his father who WAS only 20 feet away from him. This brought my son to tears. we go to Shoot Straight and he can watch at the window with no one saying a word to him and they encourage him to watch and learn.
